Ashley Wolff grew up in Middlebury and by age 5 had declared herself an artist- a craft she has successfully honed over the years by publishing 76+ picture books as an author/illustrator. Some of the award-winning titles are Baby Beluga; Stella and Roy; Only the Cat Saw; Me Baby, You Baby; Baby Bear Sees Blue; Who Took the Cookies from the Cookie Jar?; When Lucy Goes Out Walking; Compost Stew and the beloved Miss Bindergarten Series. Her newest 2021 releases Wildfire! and How to Help a Pumpkin Grow will be featured.
Ashley‘s passion extends to her support of Addison County Readers, the local fundraising group for the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL). As “ambassador” of ACR, Ashley has generously given her time at presentations at all of Addison County Libraries and beyond. She engages families and young children with her colorful drawings and explorations of early literacy skills and is masterful in eliciting ideas from the young audience.
As Ashley Wolff herself says, “I am in favor of all books, reading in all places, all the time. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library makes this possible.”
